CHILA ALI: Battled head to head and tooth to tooth in this 12 horse field of 30k maiden claimers. She could not handle the winner, but was more than five lengths clear of the rest. If able to clear next time out she will be gone.

TRIBE: Was stuck down on the rail in this 6½ furlong downhill turf sprint and that is not the place to be. With an outside post he will get the win next time out. $$$

HUSBAND’S FOLLY: Ran a better than looked mid-pack race last time out and got claimed for 25k by Vann Belvoir who is very dangerous first off the claim. We will be betting with a new rider.

ENGLISH RHYTHM: Ran a good second in this 1 1/8 turf route and was claimed by Mike Mitchell, who must have something up his sleeve with this English Channel filly. We like the claim and will take our shot with her next time out.

MISS BECCA: Broke slow in this 6½ downhill turf sprint and was far back to say the least. She unleashed a huge run at the top of the lane and came from last to fourth storming home just missing by less than a length. $$$$$

MAJESTIC MOMENT: Broke slow, was bumped and squeezed back at the start. To make things worse he clipped heels his initial strides out of the gate. Somehow he settled nicely off the rail and made a three wide run down the lane for the impossible win.

UNO DOS ADIOS: Was last seen finishing fifth at Del Mar back in September when facing the likes of Goldencents, who is one of this year’s Kentucky Derby favorites. He was only 9/2 in the race. Adios made a winning move, but lost the bob on the line in a three-horse photo finish. No mistakes next time out and he will be a solid single. $$$$$

SAHARA SKY: Is the now horse here on the dirt beating some top males in the Grade 2 San Carlos. He is in the best form of his life and loves the dirt.

CHIPS ALL IN: Was coming off a long layoff for trainer Jeff Mullins, but put in a winning effort in this little handicap race. Lost the bob on the line. With this race under his belt, he will be one tough cookie next time out.

MORGANOUSKA: Once a speed horse, he has changed his style and that proved to be the answer. He rocketed home from next to last in this mile race to win by more than 6. Will come back and repeat for his new connections.

WHILLY PINK: Made a nice late run to win going away, but the all-knowing stewards took his number down. They left a horse up in the previous race for the same thing?

THE PERFECT LEMON: Ran big first time out and will be very hard to beat in start number 2. $$$
