WINNINGCONNECTIONS: Was last seen running up the track at Del Mar last August. He came back in this 30k maiden claimer and just destroyed this crew by almost 7 lengths leaving the .70 cent on the dollar chalk in his wake.

LEGACY: Three-time starter for trainer John Sadler was getting his first shot at going long and first on the grass. She ran four wide into the first turn losing ground and then was angled between horses leaving the second turn. Finished a strong fourth, losing by a length for the win. Next time no mistakes. $$$

HERE’S TO ROSE: Had no shot at the runaway winner in this 50k maiden claimer, but gamed it out in her own race to finish a very good second. She was claimed for the 50k and appears to be well worth the big number.

COCONUT CREAM PIE: Was best in this straight maiden race going 1-1/16 on the grass, but had to wait off heels midway on the second turn. Came between foes into the stretch, but had to go back down on the rail where she was steadied hard with no room and in tight. Once through she surged late but lost the bob in what was a super effort. $$$$$

ALSACE: Ran a winning race in this 20k maiden claimer, but had to settle for the place money when losing by a dwindling neck while almost six lengths clear of the rest. He will be tough to beat next time out.

MAMBO MAN: Was exiting our HTW list and got the job done in this 1-1/16 turf route paying $14.20 to our loyal followers. We look for him to come back and give another good effort going long on the grass.

HUGH KNEW: Was one of the two live runners in this 2yo filly straight maiden race. She went off at 7-to-5 finishing a very troubled third, while the winner at 6-5 got the perfect trip. This filly will be a solid single next time out.

PEBBLE BEACH BABY: Was last seen finishing second at Emerald Downs back in September 2012. She came back in this spot and got the nice win at 2-1 odds. This filly has some nice turf breeding and we will be waiting for her to go long on the green.
