FENICE: In his last start he was caught outside then was taken to the inside but came out once again into the stretch and came further out in upper stretch and kept getting floated out down the lane but somehow kept going and got up for the win. He was claimed out of this race by Jeff Mullins and this could turn out to be a good pick up.

SOLDIER BETTY: Really wanted to run but the jock took a tight hold of her but got her stuck between horses and had to steady her hard into the second turn, she then split rivals on the turn and came wide into the stretch but got in tight once again but surged late and just did lose by a nostril in what was a super effort. Look for a jockey switch next time out and a trip to the winners’ circle. $$$$$

MISTER DO IT: Ran a much better than looked race in his first try going 6½ furlongs on the downhill turf course. This guy really looks like a runner for trainer Dan Hendricks and should get that diploma in the very near future.

BLUE TAMBOURINE: First time starter was listed at 8-1 on the morning line but took plenty of early and late action and was sent off at 7-2. She ducked in at the start, was in tight on the back stretch and had to check and was far back, she got going late and made a big late run to pick up the place money.

POSITION A: May have needed this race but put in a better than looked effort and the price may be a good one in his next start.

TAP IT LIGHT: Was last seen winning at Fairplex in September of ’08 but came back running today as trainer Mike Mitchell put this one over at 9-2, look for the move up and a repeat win. $$$

DEVINE ACTRESS: Just had a bad trip and once she got going could not run down the lone speed but was gaining with every stride at the wire. If she can get just a little pace to run at next time out she will win. $$$

WORTH REPEATING: Bobbled at the start, then settled just off the rail but hopped crossing the main track; he then came out into the stretch while in hand and made a huge move for the lead all on his own and just stormed home for an easy win while under a long hold. This guy looks like he could be big time for trainer Richard Mandella. $$$$$

SEE ZO GO: You had to see this ride to believe how bad it was in this six horse field as the jock had this guy stuck the entire race and checked in and out all over the course; trainer Mason must have had a cow and if this jock rides next time I will be very surprised as he cost See Zo Go the race. We will sing in all the picks next time out with a jockey switch. $$$$$

LOOKN FOR THE LORD: Confirmed front runner took back off the pace today and made a nice late run, don’t know if was on purpose or just the way the race played out as the horse that I thought would be coming from off the pace actually went for the lead. Lord made a nice late run just missing the place.

I WANNA GO FAST: Could not run down the 6-5 lone speed but was coming with every stride and should be able to cash soon.
