HOLLADAY ROAD: Julio Canani trainee may have been best in this 1 1/8 turf route as he got stuck down on the inside about a ¼ of a mile from home. He finally got out and stormed home but was a ½ a length late. No mistakes next time out going long on the grass with a clean trip. $$$$$

BROWSING: This first time starter from the barn of John Sadler ran a monster second coming from far back in this 5½ furlong sprint finishing a clear second. He had no shot at the lone runaway speed winner and will be one tough filly to beat next time out. $$$$$

CHAMPAGNEANCAVIAR: Was back in town from Emerald Downs for trainer Gary Stute and the name of this filly suited her jockey. The Champagne and Caviar girl herself Chantal Sutherland Kruse guided this filly home in a perfect ride paying $116.00 to win. Tom Quigley tweeted out how good she looked in the paddock but all of us at the book thought he was talking about Chantal? These type can come right back and run another big race.

HIGH TEST: Had a case of the wides in this 6½ furlong downhill turf sprint, but still ran on late finishing third beaten by 1¼ in what was a much better than looked effort. This one will be very hard to beat next time out for trainer Mike Puype who is due to heat up.

MOONLIT METEOR: Had the hook up of jockey Iggy Puglisi and trainer Paul Aguirre. These two can put over some winners and almost had one here with Moonlit Meteor who lost by a half-length after being steadied late at the wire. The five wide trip also hurt his chances.

INDYGO F M A: Hard trying 0-8 filly was getting her first shot at sprinting on the grass and we liked her on our web site. She rewarded us with a win and a payoff of $16.20. We think she can come right back and score with this confident boast under her belt.

TIZ A CLASSY LASS: Took a big shot with this filly going a mile on the grass at 8-1. She came from last to second down the lane but could not get to the even money lone speed who had it all her way on the front end. With some pace to run at she will get the job done next time out going long on the grass. $$$$$
