Was going a flat mile in this straight maiden race. He stalked four wide and continued in the four path and into the stretch. Showed determination in finishing third by a neck in what was a performance that will have him set for the win next out.

First time starter was stuck on the far outside in this mile dirt sprint. He was five wide into the first turn, chasing well off the rail on the second turn and came five wide into the stretch. Made his run to finish a clear third. This one has some run and will be a must use next out.

Broke slow in this $30k maiden claimer going 5.5 furlongs, then stalked the pace to pick up the show. We would like to see this one go 6 or 6.5 furlongs at Santa Anita. If so we will be betting.

First time starter drew the rail in this 5.5 furlong sprint, a place where you do not want to be. She was still sent off at 90-cents-on-the-dollar. She showed early speed but Gary Stevens, who wanted no part of the inside, pulled her and had to steady. He came out but had to steady her again on the turn. Finished fourth in an effort you can just throw out. We will give her another shot, and at a better price, next time out.

First time starter for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer came into this with some real nice works. He ran fairly well but even. Look for him to blast away from the gate next out and find the winner’s circle. $$$

First time starter for Bob Baffert finished second when beating Iancol last time out. He has big early speed. Look for him to clear early next time out and play catch me if you can. If Iancol and Wabel meet, we will be going big on the exacta and trifecta. $$$
