SHEZA DISH: Was last seen running second at Del Mar back in the November meet. Kept her form and came back in this mile $40k maiden claimer to finish a solid second as she just did get caught down the lane. Was a clear second almost seven lengths in front of the rest.

ANNIVERSARY KITTY: Had not seen the starter since last April here at Santa Anita and now was being sent down the hill. She took plenty of action and stormed home to win going away. Horse showed a fondness for this course and can rattle off several wins. We hope trainer Craig Dollase sends her down the hill again next time out. Will be singling. $$$

SAINT LOUP: Was last seen June 13, 2013 at the now defunct Hollywood Park. He was making his comeback going down the hill and actually ran a much better-than-looked race, coming home strong late to just miss the show dough by a nostril. We look for trainer Julio Canani to send this guy next time out. We will be playing.

CHOCOLATE DELIGHT: Another coming off the layoff. This filly showed some real determination in this $8k claimer going a flat mile and finishing a solid third. She was claimed by Roberto Diodoro who will have her spotted for the win next time out.

FONZ: Was our single in the players pick five on the daily horse selections and HTW list. He won going away in this 1 1/8 mile route despite a wide trip. We look for him to repeat.

THESHEETSGUY: Loves this dirt track and won again while drawing away down the stretch. He was claimed by Doug O’Neill and his brother Dennis for $25k. This looks to be a very good claim.

TIZ MY CHERRIE: First time starter for the good trainer Blaine Wright, ran huge when finishing second by 3/4 of a length behind the odds-on 40-cents-on-the-dollar winner while four lengths clear of the rest. She will be a nice single in the 20-cent pick six or the pick five. $$$
