TRUE HISTORY: Was in a good spot stalking the pace but had to come out for room when checking off heels in midstretch losing two positions. She came home strong and finished less than a length behind the even money winner. This filly will be a solid single next time out. $$$$$

TIZ A TOMMY TOWN: Love these Tommy Town 2yo runners, especially when trainer Hollendorfer has one. He had this 2yo filly and she would have won for fun any other day but ran into the odds-on John Sadler first timer Uptown Girl who came back on to beat her. Tiz was almost seven lengths clear of the rest and will win next time out. $$$$$

URLOVENEVERFAILS: First time starter took plenty of action at the windows in this 7 furlong elongated sprint. She ran her heart out but could not hold off the even money winner. Did finish more than six lengths clear of the rest and will be a nice single next time out. $$$

DALMORE: 2yo colt had the Keith Desormeaux/Kent connections, (remember Texas Red won the BC Juvenile last year). Well this colt came out running but could not hold off the fast closing long shot who freaked away. Did finish a solid second and is one to keep an eye on.

GIGANTIS: Took a shot with this guy at 25/1 last out and after breaking slow he made a quick move to stalk in second outside but got fanned out into the lane. He put a head in front but could not hold off the late runners just missing the show dough. It was a solid effort.

SOUL DRIVER: Blasted away down the lane in this mile turf race to easily beat this field of 12. We will be on him again to get the repeat win next out going long on the grass.

KNOW PLANS: Was five wide early in this downhill turf sprint and then came six wide into the stretch. Kept going late to finish a better-than-looked fifth. He may want to go long next time out.

NICKLAUS WAY: Cheap claimer looks on the uptick and ready to strike at a square price next time out.
