BOGIE: Was making his first start in the U.S. for trainer Paddy Gallager, he broke slow and was dead last until the top of the stretch but made a big late run getting up for the show dough losing by a half length for the place, this guy will be set for a trip to the winners circle on the Hollywood grass. $$$$$

DESTORTED ECONOMY: Very questionable ride by Rosario as this guy lost several lengths as he was kept three and four wide the entire trip going a flat mile, give him a big shot next time out going long on the green.

WARRENS TOMMY TOO: Could not run down the odds on speed in here but closed resolutely finishing second more than six lengths clear of the rest.

OUR PARTNER: Trainer Mike Mitchell pulled off one of his poker bluffs as he dropped this guy like a hot potato but he won with ease and there were no claims, look for the slight move up in class as he goes for another win.

LORDGIVEMEALIFT: Golden Gate invader showed good early speed but could not sustain the effort finishing next to last. Trainer Julio Canani made one of his rare claims picking this guy up for 25k, maybe he has a six furlong turf sprint at Hollywood in mind for him?

BLAME THE WINE: This very hard knocking Mare drank this group of girls under the table at .50 cents on the dollar. She was claimed by trainer Jerry Hollendorfer so look for the move up and a repeat win at Holly Park or she could show up at the Gate.

DAVES PACEMAKER: Just loved this Avila comebacker and if you would have gone to this website, you would have got this release, a $24.40 winner. Dave was crowded at the start but split horses on the turn, came wide down the lane to get up late on the outside. Look for another big effort at Hollywood.

TIMEZONE: This first time starter a Pulpit filly was bet in half from 6-1 on the morning line to 3-1 at post and won like a good thing going down the hill, she looks like a nice turf prospect for trainer Dick Mandella, look for him to send her long in her next start. $$$

LONGITUDE: Was getting back on the grass and looked to be spotted for action by trainer Mason but got fanned four wide on the second turn when he looked to be making a winning run, he got straight and rallied to the front but just could not sustain his move and he just did fail to hold the show by a nostril, next time out on the grass. $$$$$

ROOSTER: Was exiting our HTW list and he ran a huge race at 20-1 settling for the place money $13.60, keep this one on your list of ready to pop horses.

DRAMITIC MARINO: Was going long on the grass for the first time and he got hammered at the windows and he just did fail after battling tooth and nail the entire mile turf distance losing by a head on the line. $$$$$

JESSIE’S KNOCKOUT: This race was scheduled to go on the grass but got taken off but this girl was well meant and well bet, if she shows up on the green give her a big shot.
