PRIDE OF WILSHIRE: Speedster could not hold off the even money chalk in here but he will not have that problem at Hollywood where the speed is king, he will go wire-to-wire the next time out and will be a good single in the picks.

TWEEBSTER: Was last seen in August of ’09 at Del Mar, he came back here at Santa Anita going down the hill and ran a much better than looked race going five wide into the stretch and he was coming on late just missing the show dough. This guy wants to go long so look for trainer Baffert to stretch him out in his next start. $$$$$

SKELLYTOWN: Was getting his first start off the Mike Mitchell claim and Mike put him right in the Grade 2 San Juan Capistrano, he ran big time at 25-1 finishing third losing the whole enchilada by 1¼ lengths, keep this one on your HTW list for awhile.

LUNADA BAY: Was another Baffert trainee who was last seen running at Del Mar in ’09 and he also ran a better than looked race as he split rivals in deep stretch picking up the show dough, no mistakes for this guy next time around the oval. $$$$$

WYNNING RIDE: Baffert won with this comebacker as she was last seen running in the Grade 1 Alabama at Saratoga, she won this race for fun while under a long hold, look for the move to the big time next time out at Hollywood.

DASH DOT DASH/WARREN’S APPEAL: These two ran first and second while almost four lengths clear of the rest of the field last time out, both got redtagged by William E Morey who just may head North with the duo.

MELON UP: First time starter was bet from 6-1 to 3-1 at post; she showed big early speed but just could not hold off the live Mike Mitchell first time starter but she was more than six lengths clear of the third place finisher in this 11 horse field. She will be a very nice single next time out at Hollywood. $$$$$

COME TOUCH THE SUN: First time starter in this 75k maiden claimer for 3yo won like a good thing and trainer John Sadler didn’t hesitate to put up the 75k for the claim, this girl could be one to watch stretching out on the grass.

OUR ROAD SCHOLAR: Sneaky trainer A.C. Avila snuck over to San Francisco and claimed this girl for 20k, he can be one dangerous guy first off the claim and this filly could be heading to Hollywood for the big time. $$$$$

EAST FROM WEST: If you were online and logged on to my daily selections you would have had this guy who won for fun paying $35, look for the repeat.

L.A.DEVINE: We released this filly as a single on the website, she went off at 6-1 and may have been best but was caught behind a wall of horses and raced in check, once clear she was shot out of a cannon and just did fail to run down the 3-2 chalk finishing second in what was a tough loss.

GREAT NEWS: Was another selection here on the website and this girl was let go at 36-1, she had a clear lead in the stretch but could not hold off the winner but was two lengths clear of the third place finisher. Our top three selections finished 1-2-3 in this race keying a $326.30 trifecta for a buck.
