HISTORY BOY: Was down on the inside in this 1¼ turf route, he moved up along the rail coming into the stretch by had to be steadied when in tight, he got through along the fence shot to the front for an easy win. This guy ran like he could go around again.

BELLEOFTHEBRIDLE: 2yo maiden filly facing the boys in the 4½ furlong straight maiden race being bet like the race was over and if you saw her run all you can say is wow! This girl looks to be the real deal for trainer Walther Solis and one to keep on your horses to watch list. $$$$$

SUMMER MOVIE: Was coming off a layoff and was 15-1 on the morning line but took a lot of action and left the gate at 8-1, he pulled his way to stalk the early pace, got to the front and fought off several as he powered his way home winning by three lengths in what was a big time effort. If he doesn’t bounce off the race he will repeat.

OUR ROAD SCHOLAR: Was getting her first start off the A.C. Avila claim, A.C. has been ultra hot and this girl who looked in over her head and was let go at 18-1 faired a big shot running second losing to the 2-1 chalk. You just cannot dismiss a runner out of this barn especially when Omar Berrio is in the irons. $$$

TARO: Just finished right behind Our Road Scholar by a neck and this girl who was coming off a long layoff put in a much better than looked effort with a wide trip, she will be very hard to beat next time around and could be a good single at what will be a fair price. Follow all the horses out of this race as it could turn out to be a key race. $$$

DANA DYNAMO: Broke slow and was dead last on this speed favoring track, he made a wide late run picking up the show dough in a good effort and is a must use in the exotics.

CARBON HOOFPRINT: Broke out and was bumped and steadied hard at the start and was far back and in another galaxy and looked hopelessly beaten. He made a quick move off the rail and then came five wide into the stretch and just exploded like an out of control freight train just shooting by the front runner and winning for fun. $$$$$

I’M GOING PLACES: First time starter looked tough and was 12-1 on the morning line but I always like to check the early betting on these races and this girl opened at 8-5 and my eyes opened. She was outsprinted to the turn and then made a four wide rally to the stretch as she collared the front runner and surged to the front for the win. $$$$$

ANGI’S WILD CAT: Was going to be my single in this race before I saw the betting on I’m Going Places but I did use her in the exacta and tri. I just loved the connections (Steve Sherman/Robert Bone) and the price 10-1, she got up for the place keying a nice $134.20 exacta for two bucks and a very nice $633.20 tri for two bucks. This girl we be a be a very good single in her next start but you won’t get 10-1. $$$$$

CAPTAIN ROY: Was last seen running at Fresno in October of ’09, he was far back in this 11/16 turf route but made a super move from last to second down the lane but just could not run down the 8-5 R Baze chalk but was gaining with every stride losing by just a length. $$$$$

HUDSON LANDING: Had been looking for a grass race ever since arriving here from Florida for trainer Morey and he found her and won with ease, this guy could turn out to be a big time turf runner here and is one to keep on your list. $$$$$

PROUD ILLUSION: First time start was well bet and put in a good third place effort despite trouble, look for him in the winners’ circle next time out.

EDENISE: Got the fell of the track last time out and he just may end up liking it at the Gate.

BROWN IS BEIGE: 2yo looked good winning at first asking and can only improve as the distances get longer.
