RACING FOR CHASEN: This girl was listed at 15-1 on the morning line in this 11 horse field and she was bet down to 9/2. Made a big four wide run into the stretch and ran her heart out just missing by a nose and a head. We will come right back with her next time out.

ZUZU’S PETALS: Looked to have a big shot in this 6½ furlong sprint. She settled down on the inside then came out on the turn to make her run but the winner got away. She ran on to be a clear second and will be tough again right back.

APPEALING LADY: Was pulling jockey Guitierrez out of the saddle as this filly really wanted to run. She just could not chase down the even money shot who opened up down the lane. Did finish almost nine lengths clear of the rest and will be a solid single next out to break her maiden.

SLEEPWALKER: Broke slow in this 11 horse field going 6½ furlongs and was next to last. He split horses in midstretch and was charging late to just miss the place money by a dwindling neck and the win by a dwindling ¾ of a length in what was a big try. If he gets the right pace and breaks better will get the money next time out.

RIM NICK: The money was on this maiden as he was bet down to 7/5 but as luck would have it he bobbled at the start and angled in while pulling on his jock who had to steady him on the turn. After that his race was over and he could only finish fifth in this field of 11. We will be all over this one next time out as he will redeem himself. $$$$$

JOHNS SUCCESS: Just loved this guy here at 3/1 but was steadied early and it cost him several positions as he had to drop back to sixth after having to wait off heels leaving the second turn. Got going late to be a clear second, missing the win by less than a length. No mistakes next time out. $$$

HIGHWAY BOSS: Made what looked to be a winning move in the stretch but was out finished late and had to settle for fourth. He was claimed for the high price of $62,500 by Jerry Hollendorfer who must have something up his sleeve for this guy. He could send him to Golden Gate. We will be watching out for the Highway Boss.
