SOUL CANDY: Broke sharp but got between horses, he took back, he came out leaving the turn and lost position but continued with his wide run and just did miss beating the odds on winner by a neck.

CELTIC CHARMER: First time starter took some good action, he was steadied hard while down on the rail in the early going, he came off the rail and swung four wide into the stretch, he continued with his wide run and got up for second in what was a top notch effort for the first timer.

ON A HI: 2yo first time starter was bumped hard at the start but stalked the pace, he came three wide into the stretch and just did miss the win by a head; this guy will be good single next time out.

SEVENTH STAR: Trainer Mike Mitchell doesn’t start many Euro imports but he had this guy off a layoff and he just ran super in this 50k maiden claimer, look for Mitchell to put him in a starter allowance race in his next start and get a repeat win.

TIZ GOLDEN: First time starter out of the Ron Ellis barn this guy was bet like a winner and well meant but was steadied and crowded at the start, he then settled down on the rail, he came out leaving the turn and made a big four wide run and just did miss the show dough by a neck. This guy can flat out run and will be a good single next time out.

MEDAGLIA D’AMOUR: Was exiting our HTW list and was listed at 15-1 on the morning line, this filly just got pounded at the windows and got off at 3-1 and won like even money, keep her on your list as there our more good things to come.

FIFIE’S FANTASY: You just had to see this effort to believe how this girl won, she stumbled badly at the start and was last and it looked like her race was over at even money, she moved up on the inside but had no room and got shuffled back into the turn, she had to swing out on the turn for room and came four wide down the lane and somehow got up for the win under a strong Joel Rosario hand ride, wow! $$$$$

APRIORITY: Was steadied off heels in the early going, he then got stuck down on the rail, he came out on the second turn but the runaway winner was gone but he did put in a top notch effort for the place and this one will break his maiden in his next start.

SPORTS EDITION: Just freaked in this race as she circled five wide and just exploded down the lane winning by four lengths, look for the move up and another win.

MONICA C C: Broke third out of the gate in this 11/16 turf route but was taken back several positions, she made a four wide run on the second turn and finished fast from the far far outside of the track getting up for the place in what was a questionable ride. If she gets a new jock next time out you can send it in!

AMBEDEUX: Was trying the grass for the first time and this 20k maiden claimer just ran a monster race at 30-1 getting beat down the lane by the odds on R Baze Santa Anita shipper but this filly was two lengths clear of the rest and could pop next time out at a price if left on the grass.
