SANTA ANITA

SPOKANE EAGLE-CONQUEROR: These two runners are exiting the same last race with Spokane Eagle winning and Conqueror running last. Both were claimed by trainer Peter Miller for $20K for one of his top clients – Rockingham Ranch. He will have them both spotted for action next out at Santa Anita.

GOODTINGSCOMINPINK: First-time starter for trainer Adam Kitchingman just ran a bang-up race at 5-1 after breaking dead last in this field of  10. She made a four-wide move to get to the lead, but tired late, finishing a clear second. She should break her maiden next out with a clean break.

SMILE AWHILE: This maiden filly woke up in this spot to run her best race, just failing to get up on the line, missing by a dwindling neck while seven clear of the rest.

THIN LINE: Was in a $30K maiden claimer and ran a nice second last out, getting beat by his stablemate. He was a clear second and trainer Doug O’Neill looks to have him set to break his maiden next out.

WHATA FLIRT: This is another maiden trained by O’Neill who just failed to hold in her last start vs. $20K maiden claimers. This barn looks loaded for the Santa Anita meet.

SUITE ALONSO: Maiden had no shot vs. the lone speed in here but ran his own race to finish second, four lengths clear of the rest. He is sitting on the maiden breaker at a square price.
