MISSDEALORNODEAL: Carla Gaines sent this filly 5 furlongs on the grass and this was a scary effort as she got crowded at the start and was away last, she switched out for room on the turn and made a huge four wide run into the stretch and just stormed to the front in deep stretch and ran away as much the best, she will repeat. $$$$$

CACTUS JANE: First time starter won as much the best in this 40k maiden claimer, if you were on this website, you would have gotten this release along with the second place finisher Lake Believe, Cactus Jane paid $14.80 and the exacta paid $72.20 for $2. This girl was claimed for the 40k by trainer Mike Puype and this looks like a good pick up.

LATE CUDDLE: New Zealand import from the Jerry Hollendorfer barn won like she could be something big time down the road and this 5yo mare is a must follow.

NOT HERE: In this flat mile straight maiden race Not Here was coming out of the nine post and got stuck four wide on the first turn, she chased wide and continued four wide on the second turn and into the stretch, she then was caught between horses and had to steady and check off heels but continued on to pick up the place losing the race by less than a length in what was a super effort. No mistakes for this one next time out, she will be a good single in the picks. $$$$$

DIAMOND TOUCH: There was a little buzz on this colt but he never really got untracked with low profile jockey J L Verenzuela riding for trainer John Sadler. If you see this guy next time with a rider upgrade take a shot and the price should be good.

MYSTERY BIRD: Dropped back in the early going and was dead last, she angled in on the turn but came out once again into the stretch and got bumped hard and lost her momentum but still managed to finish third in a good effort despite being all over the track.

LANDEROS: Was between horses on the turn and came three deep into the stretch but got in tight and had to check back and angle to the inside nearing midstretch but continued gamely to the wire losing by a head in a race he may have been best.

U TURN ME CRAZY: Ran like a crazy filly off the layoff battling all the way and forcing her way between horse to get up late in what was a big time win for this 25k maiden claimer. This one could come back and pop again.

LOOK TO THE SKY: Looked great on the track and when the gate opened she really wanted to run but got rank when the jock took a hard hold of her in the early going, she stalked down on the inside but had to take up hard when the jock got her in tight on the second turn, she continued down on the inside and finished with a good late run. This girl was claimed by trainer Jack Carava, look for the move up and a new jock next time out.
