OAK TREE at SANTA ANITA

GREEN CARD JAMES: Came from last to first and inhaled his rivals when powering away down the lane. This guy was a front runner early on in his career but now has changed his style. This race could set him up for the grass at Oak Tree.

U TURN ME CRAZY: Was a hot item in this starter allowance race but could not get to the lone speed and had to settle for second money. She is in top form and only needs a race with some pace to find the winners circle.

MEGILLAH: Was exiting our HTW list but put in a game effort for the win paying $8.60. He was passed down the lane but came back for the score beating the odds-on choice in the race.

THE SKINNY MAN: Just put in a super effort in the Barretts Juvenile when battling tooth and nail the entire race. He could not go with the winner late but was a clear second. He will find the winners circle at Santa Anita.

VIVACIOUS ANNA: Was coming out of the 10 hole in this 11/16 route at Fairplex, was wide and lost ground on the bend. But she kept coming finishing a bang up second. She is sitting on the maiden breaker. $$$$$

LOUIE TRE: Was last seen running at Santa Anita in April of ’08. He was rushed up from his outside post but had to check hard off heels into the turn and then dropped back like something went wrong. He then was caught wide but came on again and finished a game third.

CAMISADO: Was just another winner exiting our HTW list and this old pro paid a nice $11.40 for the win. He is in top form and could come right back and pay another nice price. We will keep him on our HTW list.

GOLDEN GATE FIELDS

ISLAND WILD CAT: First time starter was making his move but was caught behind horses when in heavy traffic on the inside. He was stuck behind foes but came through a small opening and somehow got up late for a big win.

SOURDOUGH SAM: First time starter was hammered in the early betting with jockey Beato in the irons. So the light went off as this guy’s odds eased back up to 8-1 at post time. He broke slow and raced up into contention but got caught behind horses. I thought my hard earned cash was down the tubes. He remained on the inside but had to steady hard when trying to get through down on the rail. He then shifted out for room like he had a rocket up his you know what and drew off late for an easy win. $$$$$

RUSH COUNTY: Just loves the Golden Gate turf course and is a must use.

HALLELUJAH TRAIL: If you are an online recipient of my daily selections you had this winner and Q. The winner paid $41.20 and the Q paid $76 for $2 bucks.
