OAK TREE at HOLLYWOOD PARK

HE’S A DANCE STAR: Donald Warren first time starter was sent off at almost 25-1 in this straight maiden race, he was making a big move while on the inside on the turn but lacked room at the bend and took up. Usually these first time starters would call it a day after that but he came out and split horses and shifted into another gear and just stormed home to get a great win by a head. This guy can run and will be able to step up against winners.

CAPT. SPARROW: Just sat back in this 6 furlong sprint, he was shifted out to make his run and came four wide into the stretch and stayed wide while closing to pick up the show dough in what was a nice prep for the upcoming Oak Tree meet.

U TURN ME CRAZY: Was three wide in the early going as she tracked the pace from off the rail, she shifted in exiting the bend and was running hard at the end but could not pick up ground on the two front runners but this will set her up perfectly for her next start at Hollywood.

OUTRAGEOUS FORTUNE: Was going 11/16 in this race for straight maidens, I took a shot at 9-1 and as I sat there he trailed the field as he was bumped hard at the start, he shifted out nearing the last turn and made a big run to pick up the place. I was looking to see who finished third for the tri, but I could not find the rest of the field as they were almost 13 lengths behind him.

LUCKY SIS: Was taken to the rail in the early going, she looked to be making her move but had to wait for room nearing the stretch, she swung out and once clear she found her best stride and was really running late but it was just too late. Next time if she finds some pace to run at she will find the winners’ circle. $$$$$

FREE FROM SIN: Was best in here but was bumped and checked off heels in the early going and then got in tight and was checked again; she got going once again and was flying at the winner but just failed by ¾ of a length but was almost four lengths clear of the rest.

GOLDEN GATE FIELDS

CASHMERE MIST: Was caught behind a wall of horses into the turn, she shifted out for room and made a wide rally and drew away late for a convincing win, she will repeat.

FLYING DREAM: Broke in the air and then raced up inside but had to be steadied into the turn and fell back, she came on again and was a clear second by five lengths.

MOVE OVER MARINO: Del Mar shipper made a move into the stretch but and then just stopped, he did get claimed by trainer Miyadi for the sneaky For The Boys Stable so keep an eye out for this guy.

I AM THOR: My question is why? This guy looked much the best in this 10k claiming race on the grass with R Baze in the irons and went off at 80¢ on the dollar but Baze got him caught in tight and then he was bumped again and steadied and fell back and just made a little late run to pick up the facial show money.

BEAR MARKET: Ran big to win this mile turf race for straight maidens but the all knowing stewards took his number down for drifting out at the wire, he was clear and the one that caused the trouble was the chalk who then put up, this was a crime.

RICHLY RED: Broke sharp but then took back from the rail, he came widest of all into the stretch and just came flying home but was too late, next time. $$$$$

BEST OF THE BUNCH: Was boxed from off the rail and behind the leaders on the second turn, she switched to the outside for running room once in the stretch and made a strong run and just drew away for an easy win, look for her to find a nice starter allowance race next time out.

GADGET QUEEN: Emerald Downs invader came from last to first in a flash and won like a good thing in this mile turf race, look for this mare to come right back and repeat. $$$$$
