Trainer Bob Baffert did not have the best of meets at Del Mar as he just doesn’t like the synthetic surfaces. He will have all of his horses geared up for the dirt at either Los Al or Santa Anita. She was just tugging her way while down on the inside in the Oak Tree Juvenile Filly turf race at Del Mar. Went outside leaving the second turn and four wide into the stretch. Closed fast picking up the show dough in a big effort. $$$

Was exiting our HTW list and got off at 4/1. She was best in here finishing second by a dwindling head after Van Dyke lost his whip in upper stretch. We will keep her on our list as she is ready to win.

Was in a perfect spot down on the inside but just could never find enough room to make his way through and had to be strangled down to lose his shot. He did run late once clear and will be very tough next time out going long on the grass.

First time starter took plenty of action at the betting windows. She showed good early speed and looked all the winner turning for home but the glib surface got the best of her. She will be one tough filly next time out on the dirt.

First time starter sped to the early lead, got headed by the 5/2 favorite but battled on till the end only losing by a slim 1/2 length in a very gutty try. If able to clear next time out he will be gone.

Broke slow and pulled her jock along the inside. She was steadied down there looking for room. Split foes into the turn while moving up on the inside and surged to the front to win going away in a top notch effort for a 2yo filly. Lots of upside with this girl.

Baffert maiden ran a winning race but just could not out game the Mark Casse first time starter who came back on to beat him at the wire. This one will be a solid single next time out. $$$$$
