HIGHER INCENTIVE: Shipped in from Belmont Park, put in a determined late run and got up for the win giving Gary Stevens his first training win here at Oak Tree.

DANI REESE: Usually on or near the lead, she broke slow and last today, which was a good thing. She then made a five-wide move into the stretch, rallied strongly to get the lead and just drew away. Her new style may play well and get her a repeat win.

PLAY NINE: Chased outside then off the rail, angled in leaving the backstretch and split horses on the turn. Had to check off heels in midstretch but came out, swooped to the lead and won for fun while under a long hold with much more left in the tank. She was claimed out of this big time effort by trainer William E Morey so this girl may show up at Golden Gate in one of those starter allowance races. Keep an eagle eye open as this girl is set for another score. $$$$$

BLUE CHAGALL: Was pulling Jockey Gomez out of the saddle as he really wanted to run. He was down on the inside and came out looking for room in upper stretch. When he got out he just exploded down the lane and won under a hand ride and a long hold late. This gelding is really getting good and is a must follow. $$$$$

ZOHAN: This one is a don’t miss. Don’t know what kind of price you will get on him in his next start but he is sitting on a win. Should have won his last but got nostrilized on the line. $$$$$

RON BOB AND DAVE: Was on our HTW list this past summer but was shipped to Calder and that was the last time we saw him. He came back running today in this 6½ furlong downhill turf sprint and almost got there. This guy can run and will pop in the very near future for trainer Ron Ellis.

MY MAN SUMO: May have won this race going a flat mile on the grass but jockey Gomez let him get floated out in the last furlong. It really cost him as he lost by just a length.

ROSE DIAMOND: If you were on this website you would have gotten this release. This was her first start in the U.S. for trainer Patrick Biacone and she was listed at 4-1 on the morning line. Somehow she got away at almost 14-1 and stormed home widest of all in what was a big time effort paying $29.20.

BODY BUILDER: There may be a lot more here than met the eye in his first start down the hill. He ran a much better than looked race despite finishing fourth beaten a length for the entire enchilada at 10-1. $$$
