Race 2 No. 2 KEVLAR KID: This lightly raced 4yo gelding looks to be a real up and comer off his last race running second to the odds on First Dude but more than four lengths clear of the rest of the field, he is also bred for the grass and if he shows up going long on the green we will be running to the window. $$$$$

Race 9 No. 9 CAFFEINE HIGH: Was getting his first start off the Ron Ellis claim and trying the downhill turf course. May have been best after being hammered at the windows, getting bet down to the 6-5 chalk. He had to wait when caught down on the inside, but got through a narrow opening and battled it out to the wire in a strong performance. Looks to have some upside. $$$

Race 10 No. 4 FIFTH AVE: Was a release on and won like a good thing at 13-1. This filly has the looks of a girl that really wants to go long. We will follow as she moves up the ladder. ,

No. 6 GREAT HOT: Was listed at 8-1 on the morning line and I was just hoping this filly would be an overlay. When they scratched the morning line chalk she was bet down to 7-2, but won like even money. This was her first start for the sneaky Avila, who brought this girl in from Brazil. Look for her to be moving up to the big time.

No. 7 ENTRUSTMENT: Filly was coming off the layoff for trainer Paddy Gallagher and making her first start as a 2yo. On the grass for the first time, she went 11/16 and gave a huge effort to win by a length. Looks to have a lot of upside. We just may see this girl heading South to play with the big girls.

Golden Gate

Race 2 No. 1 DUNMORE EAST: Was a single on and he went wire-to-wire for an easy win paying $46.60 in first try on the grass. Trainer Lloyd Mason is one of the best with this angle. We this one coming back with another big run on grass.
