Race 2

No. 6 NOTTAHOBBY: Second time starter was coming off a five month layoff after having trouble in his first outing with straight maidens. He was being dropped into this 30k maiden claimer going 6 furlongs and flying late when running up the heels of the second place finisher. Knocked the fourth place horse off stride when bulling his way through for room. Finished third, missing the place by a dwindling neck. Had his number taken down for bothering the third place finisher. $$$

No. 7 PORK CHOP: A lot of promise if he can ever break sharp out of the gate. Was next to last in this 6½ furlong downhill turf sprint. Again got going in upper stretch and came flying with a big late run to finish fourth. May need longer but we will give him a big shot next time out. A must use in the exotics.
