Santa Anita
Race 2
No. 5 HAWKEDON: Was the hot horse in this downhill turf sprint, but when he looked to be making his winning move down on the inside jockey Gomez lacked room. He had to check hard costing him any shot he had. This one only needs to break sharp and make a wide run next time out unless he goes long.
Golden Gate
Race 6
No. 3 KITTY MARIE: Ran an interesting race for a first time starter as she broke slow and then moved up on the inside. She dropped back, but came on again in the lane picking up the place money only a length behind the odds-on winner.
