Race 1

No. 1 MISS PIPPA: Ran huge in defeat as she was caught on the far outside in this mile turf race. Usually on or near the lead, she had to be taken back to next to last in this 10 horse field. She bided her time and moved down on the inside to save some ground. Came out in deep stretch and making a nice late run to pick up the place money. Lost by just a length to the 9/5 chalk in a big time effort. $$$$$

Race 4

No. 7 PRINCESS OF PEARL: Just a horrible loss this filly took at 5/2 and our single in the players pick five. She bobbled at the start and was steadied hard into the first turn. Came out in deep stretch for room and surged late missing by a nostril. She was best today but the trip got her. No mistakes next time out and we will be singling. $$$$$

Race 5

No. 5 ITALIAN RULES: One amazing horse who rarely runs a bad race. He looked the winner in this race but chased down late by Kate’s Event who put in a freakish effort. Italian Rules was claimed for $62,500 by John Sadler who lost him for 40k, so he must really love this one. Race 6

No. 8 DIAMOND OF BLUE: Got caught at the wire on the bob by the old pro Cost of Freedom. Find it very interesting that Southern California trainer Ron Ellis claimed this one. He must have a good spot in mind for Diamond of Blue. $$$

Race 3

No. 4 SPIRIT OF LINDY: Took some action in this 1 1/16 turf race for 20k maiden claimer and ran a real good race. We look for him to get the job done next time out.
