Race 4

No. 1 GIFTING: First time Bob Baffert runner was working a hole in the wind and got bet down to .60 cents on the dollar. As luck would have it he broke slow and then bobbled. Tried to make an inside run, but got in tight checking off heels and for all intentions her race was over. This filly can run and will be heard from very soon.

Race 8

No. 5 SPORTS REPORT: Ran big at 2-1, but just failed to run down the winner late. Was gaining late with every stride. Trainer Peter Miller has this one ready to win and 6 ½ furlongs could be his best trip.

Race 3

No. 1 KATY’S STAR: Hesitated at the start and was last. She chased the leaders to the turn and then shifted in but was blocked. She eased out and surged when clear getting up at the wire with a very determined effort. $$$
