Race 5

No. 2 LITTLE PRINCE: Looked to be making a winning move, but got boxed in on the inside and had no place to go. Once clear he had to settle for the place money while more than six lengths clear of the rest

Race 7

No. 1 RON’S RANGER: Just exploded down the lane drawing away very impressively at 6/1 against a very good field of starter allowance runners. This gelding will come right back and score again.

Race 8

No. 8 TRICKY SHANE: Shipped in for Doug O’Neill looking for a grass race but was instead run on the synthetic surface. He left him in the race and wound up winning going away. This gelding may have found a home here and we will be all over him next time out probably in a starter allowance race turf or main. $$$$$

Race 9

No. 4 BLESS THIS SOUL: First time starter out of the barn of Tim McCanna was breaking from the rail in this 12 horse field. Jockey Duran took back to last and then came out into the stretch. Was well wide down the lane as he closed fast, but had to settle for fourth. Nice effort from far back.
