HOLLYWOOD PARK

Race 2

No.5 EAST SKY: This 5yo was one for 26, but was getting his second start off the Mike Mitchell claim. Did not run a step first off the claim at this same level when 5/1. He took all the early action and ran to the money going wire to wire under a long Garrett Gomez hold down the lane. Mitchell looks to have found the secret so look for this one to come right back and score again. We will be singling. $$$

Race 5

No.8 RED GLOBE: Looked very live in this spot after trainer Neil Drysdale put some excellent long works into this colt. He broke slow, came out to make his run leaving the turn but had to wait and checked off heels. Had to be swung five wide for room into the stretch and stormed home to pick up the place money. This one will be very hard to beat next time out. $$$$$

Race 8

No.2 ZZUZU’S PETALS: First time starter for trainer Marty Jones was primed and ready to run with Joe Steiner in the irons insuring a fair price. They got 7/2 and the nice win. She can come right back and score.

GOLDEN GATE

Race 4

No.4 POWER OF TEN: Was making a winning move at 5/1 when jockey Alvarado took her to the inside where she was blocked behind the leaders. She had to sit with no place to go. Finally split horses angling out and closed like a flash to just miss by a half-length in a race she was much the best. $$$
