No. 6 POSHSKY: Took to the dirt like a duck to water and just crushed this field of 25k maiden claimer by almost 10 lengths going off at 20/1. Trainer Donald Warren must have been in shock watching this colt storm home down the lane looking like a miniature Secretariat. With this win under his belt look for him to come right back on the Santa Anita dirt and run big again.

No. 7 PUBLIC DEFENDER: May have been best in this 20k maiden claimer, but had a deceivingly bad trip. He was in perfect position down on the rail, but jockey Mojica took him back as he wanted off the rail. Dropped back and made a big late run to finish third by a half-length. If we get a jockey change we will be digging deep on this one next time out. $$$
