Race 3

No. 7 HIGHLY RATED: This filly, going a mile on the grass, shot to the front and, while down on the inside, shook off several bids, leaving the second turn inching away down the lane. Got caught late in what was a very game performance.

Race 4

No. 1 UNKEPT RENDEZ VOUS: $8k claimer was eliminated at the start in this 6 furlong sprint. She gathered herself turning for home and closed strong to dead heat for the place. We like her chances next time out with a good trip.

Race 6

No. 4 ICY RIDE: Was the other Baffert in the race that Indianapolis won. This first time starter, owned by Baffert’s wife Natalie, took no action but was really finding his big stride late in the race and closed to split the field. We want to see this guy going long. He may end up being a real good one. $$$
