SANTA ANITA
Race 2
No. 5 BROWSING
Most likely would not have caught the freaky first time starter but would have been much closer if she didn’t get wiped out at the start when bumped. Steadied, falling back to dead last until the top of the lane when she unleashed a big run to be a clear second. $$$
Race 7
No. 9 FAMOUS ALICE
First time starter was listed at 4/1 on the morning line and got bet like the race was over, going off at 8/5. She won by 1½ but it could have been more as Stevens just sat and gave her a turn down little tap of the whip. This girl is a flat out runner and we will follow her up the ladder going long on the grass. $$$$$
