Race 1

No. 6 NEXT BOOK: Finished second at 31/1 first time out of the box for trainer Marty Jones. He broke sharp to stalk the pace along the rail but had to wait off heels leaving the turn. When he found no place to go, he swung out for room into the stretch and got the front in deep stretch. Just failed to hold off the fast closing winner, losing by a head.

Race 2

No. 6 GAB POWER: Just ran a super race off the layoff. Jockey Rosario had this guy way too far back as he sat last in this 10 horse field. Unleashed a big time stretch run and was gaining on the top two with every big stride but came up a length short and settled for the show dough. Will be very hard to beat next time out as this race did him a world of good. Looks like single material. $$$$$.
