Race 5

No. 2 COWTOWNMARY: First time starter was let go at 10/1 and showed good early speed when battling head to head until the stretch when he opened up. He got caught late, finishing a solid fourth, battling it out till the end. If he can clear early next time out, it will be over. $$$

Race 6

No. 2 FOOTSTEPSINBRONZE: First time starter for trainer Simon Callaghan showed good early speed in this downhill turf sprint as he went to the front early and then dueled head to head. He reluctantly gave it up late, losing narrowly by a half-length while more than two clear of the rest. This one will be hard to beat next time out.
