Race 8

No. 12 AMINA PERFECT: Loved the filly in this $20k maiden claimer, especially when let go at 7/1. We fired with both hands using her as a single in the late pick four and in the exotics. She looked to have a good position when between fillies but got bogged down on the inside. By the time jockey Van Dyke got her outside it was too late and she had to settle for fourth, but was more than 12 lengths clear of the others. We will give her another shot next time out, maybe at 6 furlongs.
