No. 5 QUOTIENT: Love these Tom Proctor Gulfstream Park shippers, and like the fact he used Flavien Prat who is very underrated but can ride with anyone on the grass. This gelding just smoked them in this 1 1/8 straight maiden turf route and we look for him to move up and repeat. $$$
No. 6 LIL CHEYENNE: Looked to be a real nice price play in this $12,500 claiming race for fillies and mares. She was steadied hard and squeezed off at the start, then angled in and came out on the turn. Went back to the inside into the stretch as jockey Perez had her all over the track. She came out again in deep stretch and finished with a good late run in what was a good try on her part. We will be looking for a jockey change.
No. 1 TRIBAL WATERS: First time starter took plenty of action but hopped and broke very slow at the start. He was green as grass and raced wide on the turn. Then he swung wider for room to run and came with a big late rush in what was an outstanding debut. He will be ready for his photo next time out. $$$
No. 4 TIME JUMPER: Took a horrible beat. He would have won on any other day but for trainer Peter Eurton who shipped in On Draft to get the wire-to-wire win by a dwindling head. This one will be a solid single next time out. $$$$$
