Race 11

No. 7 PRESIDING JUSTICE: First time starter for trainer Michael Ewing, who can sneak one through. At almost 5/1 made a last to first move at the top of the lane to win for fun. Trainer John Sadler wasn’t fooled in putting up the $30k to claim this gelding. We look for him to get a quick return on the investment.

Race 6

No. 1 LOVEINTHESHADOWS: Was sent off at 23/1 in this 1-1/16 turf route. She ran into traffic problems, was checked hard nearing the quarter pole and lost valuable ground. She found her stride again and surged late to just miss by a neck in a race she was best. We will follow this one on the grass.

Race 9

No. 1 AMARANTH: Was last seen back in November. She looked good on the track and was taking some action. Came out running and put them away down the lane beating the even money Baze runner. She has the look of a filly that can come right back and score.
