SANTA ANITA

RACE 7

NO. 9 FATEER

Was bumped sideways at the gate and again leaving the backstretch. Raced four wide into the stretch to make a little late run, picking up the show dough. This one is sitting on the win and she will get it at Santa Anita.

RACE 9

NO. 4 THE TWELFTH MAN

First time starter was 6/1 on the morning line but took plenty of action and was sent off at 3/1 at post time. He was up along the rail and dueled for the front end, cleared turning for home but was caught late by the 9/5 chalk. We will see him in the winner’s circle next out at Santa Anita.
