NO. 5 SMACK TALK: 3yo was last seen running last November in the Golden State Juvenile. He was ready to roll in this race, winning going away by more than two lengths. Won at Del Mar first out of the box last year and looks like he is much better as a 3yo.

NO. 12 DERBY GLASS: Was one of four necks on the line in this mile dirt race over a fast oval, he was very unlucky to lose this race and will be hard to beat next out at a mile or longer.

NO. 4 ROYAL TEMPTRESS: Just had a horrible trip as Prat was sitting on a stick of dynamite down on the rail, but when he wanted to let this filly go she was trapped and he had to check off heels. He then altered course to the outside for room, losing a position. Once clear she came home with a rush but the early trouble cost her as she missed by a dwindling half-length while three deep on the line. $$$$$
