NO. 4 KNOW PLANS: Was five wide early in this downhill turf sprint and then came six wide into the stretch. Kept going late to finish a better-than-looked fifth. He may want to go long next time out.
NO. 7 ADMIRAL JAXON: Red hot trainer Jeff Mullins had this one ready for the win and he was bet down from 6/1 to 5/2 at post. When the gates sprung open he had not yet been loaded in. Just amazing! He did finally start to run and actually was making up ground late but was declared a nonstarter. If this race didn’t mentally hurt him he wins next time out.
