DEL MAR

Race 6

No. 1 MAJESTIC HEAT: Was being wheeled back in just 9 days by trainer Abrams who is noted for this move. He had the winner here but had to wait when checking off heels on the second turn. Was steadied hard when in tight leaving the turn and that cost her the race. She surged late to just miss by a neck. We will see this filly one more time here at the Spa and it will be in the winner’s circle. $$$

Race 7

No. 4 DREAMY ART: First time starter for trainer Adam Kitchingman, who usually does well here with his 2yo runners. Ran a very good second behind the even money highly regarded Pretty N Cool, who went wire to wire on this wet sloppy sealed track. Dreamy Art can flat out run and won’t be a maiden for long.
