NO. 6 STORMY ANGEL: Just loved this filly first out of the box for Baltas but she broke slow and then had to make a four wide run into the stretch. Came home fast missing by a length at 16/1. No such price next time but a trip to the winner’s circle.

NO. 3 NIGHTLY NEWS: Fires a huge shot first out of the box going a mile. He came up a half a length short and with this race under his belt will be very hard to beat next out going long.

NO. 7  ARABIAN LEOPARD: Baffert sent two runners to post in this 2yo straight maiden race, Leopard at 3/1. Leopard was bumped and jostled between horses at the start, which cost him.

NO. 2 JOURNEY ON: Another you will see at Santa Anita on the grass. This filly looked to have a big shot in this mile turf race at almost 7/1 but when she looked to be launching a winning move had to wait off heels in midstretch and that cost her dearly. She did get up for the show dough in what was a nice try.
