SANTA ANITA

RACE 2

NO. 2 FAITHFULLY: First time Baffert runner was sent off at 7/5 in this 7 furlong elongated sprint when finishing fourth some 5-1/2 lengths behind Audacious Angel. She broke slow and ran on like a router. We look for Baffert to send her long next time out. If so we will be wagering.

NO. 6 AUDACIOUS ANGEL: Got caught up in another goofy race at the Great Race Place with the winner who had never run a good race. Going off at 38/1 somehow held her off on the line. Angel was flying, had to wait off heels and then swung three wide to just miss. No mistakes next time out. $$$

RACE 3

NO. 1 RACING FOR CHASEN: This girl was listed at 15-1 on the morning line in this 11 horse field and she was bet down to 9/2. Made a big four wide run into the stretch and ran her heart out just missing by a nose and a head. We will come right back with her next time out.

RACE 4

NO. 13 DIAL A DATE (note is on the also list): First time starter for trainer Carla Gaines was ready to roll in this five furlong turf sprint. She stalked between horses but got in tight while trying to get in leaving the backstretch. Had to go outside and came on strong between foes to just miss at the line. A huge effort first out of the box. $$$
