NO. 4 HIGHWAY BOSS: Made what looked to be a winning move in the stretch but was out finished late and had to settle for fourth. He was claimed for the high price of $62,500 by Jerry Hollendorfer who must have something up his sleeve for this guy. He could send him to Golden Gate. We will be watching out for the Highway Boss.
NO. 5 OPTIMISM AND HOPE: Ran a much better-than-looked third in this downhill turf sprint as she appeared to be ready to unleash a big run. Had to check off heels after coming out for room and then she was switched out again for room. Kept going to pick up the show dough. She is sitting on a win.
