No. 3 JEOPARDY LADY: The deer and the antelope find a home on the range. This filly has found a home on the turf. We will keep betting her as long as trainer Mike Mitchell keeps her on the grass.
Race 6
No. 7 UNUSUAL BEAM: Took a good shot with this first time turf horse with Bejarano riding for trainer Barry Abrams. He got in tight right out of the box, took back to last and sat back until the top of the stretch. Tried to circle rivals but had to alter his path when running up the heels of a horse in front of him. Made a nice late run finishing third beaten less than a length. Should break his maiden next time out going long on the grass with a clean trip. $$$$$
