DEL MAR

RACE 7

NO. 2 AMODEI: Doug O’Neill has a barn loaded with talented 2yo runners as he is looking for another Kentucky Derby winner. Sent, Amodei and Sizzlin Square, these two first time starters out in a five furlong race, with Sizzlin Square getting the best of his stablemate Amodei by less than a length. As usual the longer price won as Sizzlin Square paid $20.20 with Amodei sent off as the 6/5 chalk. We like both of these runners right back.

RACE 8

NO. 11 YA YA GIRL: It took her 13 attempts to break maiden. Now she has won two in a row, including this mile turf race by more than four lengths while under a long tight Bejarano hold. She was always considered a turf router and now at age 4 has put it all together. More wins on the docket for her as she moves up the ladder. $$$$$ **Note that she is on the also list and must draw in.**
