DEL MAR
RACE 3
NO. 7 TENKILLER KID
Remains in top form and is a perfect fit at this $16k level. He ran another good race, but was just too far back and could not run down the speed. Did finish more than eight lengths clear of the rest. If able to transfer his form to the Del Mar synthetic surface this one is a must use in the exotics.
RACE 7
NO. 1 STARLET O’HARA
First time starter for trainer Bob Baffert was fractious at the gate and broke slow in this 5 furlong sprint. She had no shot at the lone speed but then she made a four-wide, eye popping move turning for home and was flying by her foes late. She picked up ground on the winner with every big stride, finishing second less than two dwindling lengths behind the winner. She will be a solid single next time out at Del Mar. $$$$
RACE 9
NO. 12 KOOL KAT
Was making her seventh start but first on the grass. Her sire Scat Daddy has been very good with his turf runners. She started four wide and moved up on the second turn and was five wide into the stretch coming home for the win. We look for her to stay on the grass.
