Horses to Watch Alert

Hollywood

Race 2

No. 4 NORTH FORK: Was steadied when in tight and then was steadied once again when in tight midway on the backstretch. Split horses into the stretch and held second. Looks to be rounding into form and has found his level right now.

Race 3

No. 1 THERE IS NO LIMIT: This filly just loved the dirt at Fairplex and should keep her form when moving over to the Santa Anita dirt course. She won two races at Fairplex, including her last in a somewhat troubled rail trip.

Race 9

No. 4 EVITA’S CROWN: Was a hot first time starter for trainer Vann Belvoir. This filly hopped and was steadied in a slow start. She went to the outside, but had to be steadied again into the turn when running up horses heels in front of her. Switched to the inside and stormed home to get the win by a nostril in a big time performance.

Golden Gate

Race 7

No. 5 MYHORSEOFCOURSE: Was last in this eight horse field going a flat mile on the grass. He stayed last until the top of the lane when jockey Mike Smith took him widest of all for the run down the lane. Unleashed a huge late run going from last to second in one big swoop while five wide on the line. If he can find some pace to run at next time out he will win. $$$
