Horses to Watch Alert
Hollywood Park
Race 2
No. 4 RAINBOW LUCK: Stalked off the rail in this 6½ furlong downhill sprint and was between horses coming down the hill heading into the first turn. Came out at the top of the stretch and made a huge late surge between horses missing by less than a length to the lone speed. This girl will be a winner next time out if she just gets some pace to chase. $$$$$
Race 6
No. 1 ALL THE LOVE: Was trying the grass for the first time and put in a super effort running second when closing late. She is in good form and looks ready for a winning run next time out turf or dirt.
and No. 6 SIXTYSIX MARGAUX: Trainer Mike Chambers had this shipper all hyped to roll. She tossed her head at the start and was steadied. Moved up on the inside while just pulling her jock out of the saddle. Had to steady into the turn and was switched out for room. Made a big four wide run and won going away in a spectacular effort for a 20k claimer.
Golden Gate
Race 8
No. 1 GRANITE GIRL: Was in from Del Mar going 1 1/16 on the grass and won like a good thing at 6-1. This filly may have found a home here on the green. Looks like she could come right back and repeat in a starter allowance race.
