DEL MAR

RACE 4

NO. 3 AVALANCHE: First time starter for trainer John Sadler was slow to find his best stride in this downhill turf sprint. He got going in the stretch and came home fast, gaining on the lone speed to miss by a half-length despite being in a tight spot late. He looks like a real nice prospect for Sadler and may want a little longer. A mile on the grass would be perfect for him next time out. $$
