RACE 3
NO. 2 ICE KAT
COLONEL SAMSEN, ICE KAT: Ice Kat was exiting our HTW list and somehow got off at almost 10-1. He looked all the winner down the lane but Colonel Samsen, who broke slow, split rivals in the stretch and made a big late surge to nail the Ice Kat on the line. We will keep Ice Kat on our ready to win list and add the Colonel
RACE 5
NO. 8 SUTTON’S SMILE
HOW UNUSUAL, OK DOLL, SUTTON’S SMILE, DO THE DANCE, CRIMSON AND GOLD: All were exiting the same race and running in the last one of the day Oct. 2, which offers the super high five. We have been writing about runners exiting the same race and if you boxed these five in the exacta, trifecta, super and super high five you would have hit it all as they ran 1-2-3-4-5. The $2 exacta paid $56.60, $2 tri $164.40, $1 super $426.80 and $1 super high five $2,619.40.

No. 12 LADY PAMELA: Ran a winning race but just failed to get up at the wire as she made a big surge late to just miss. She will love the move to Santa Anita and this race has her set up for the win next out.
