NO. 4 VEGAS VIC: Used this first time starter as a single in the late pick four as he went off at almost 8-1. Ran a great race only to lose to the odds-on winner by a half a length. He was more than six lengths clear of the rest and will be a solid single next time out. $$$$
RACE 8
NO. 6 GEE STREET: Was dropping from straight maiden races into this $50k claimer and had the hot hookup of jockey Nakatani riding for Baltas. This filly ran her race but just failed to run down the 3/2 chalk, losing by a dwindling half-length. Look for her in the winner’s circle next time out.
