RACE 1
HOLY MOSEY (note on the also list): Just loved this filly going five furlongs on the grass. She was dead last in the early going but at the top of the lane unleashed a furious rail run and was moving like a freight train late to just miss in a three-horse photo on the money. Missed second by a head and the win by another head. If able to get some pace to run at next time out she wins. $$$
Race 8
No. 1 Shadow Sphinx: Was in from Churchill Downs for Baltas and was going a mile on the grass. This gelding was loaded in here and once clear he blasted out for room and won in game fashion vs. the Jeff Mullins chalk East Rand. He can move up and repeat.
No. 4 Prince Earl: First timer for trainer Phil D’Amato was let go in the betting, getting off at almost 7/1 in this downhill turf sprint as the betting public somehow made the Mick Ruis runner a 9/5 chalk. Prince Earl blasted home winning by more than three lengths. Can move up and beat winners. $$$
RACE 9
NO. 7 EXTRA HOPE $$$: This 2yo first timer for Richard Mandella ran big, coming on late in this 5-1/2 furlong sprint he ran on line. He would just love to go a mile, even six furlongs next time out. We will be heading to the window and singling in the picks. $$$
