NO. 6 SALDAMENTE: These four ran 1-2-3-4 in the Del Mar Juvenile Turf and we would love to see them hook up again. This could turn out to be a nice key race. BIG SCORE came flying late but could not run down BOWIES HERO who was in from Lone Star for trainer D’Amato. We will add all four to our watch list.
NO. 7 BERNIN SENSATION: First time the 2yo Baffert colt was sent off as the 3/2 favorite. He battled tooth and nail with the Peter Miller first timer but just got beat on the line in a head bob. No mistakes next time out wire-to-wire.
